Living a Yeast Free Life

Candidiasis is quite the disease indeed. It is one of the most difficult diseases to diagnose. (The symptoms are very similar to other diseases especially if the location of the Candida is in the digestive tract/system.)

Coping with the symptoms are also challenging. Still, you can get relief from Candida the once you’re diagnosed and advised by your doctor regarding the treatments.

In order to start living a yeast free life once again, the first thing you need to do is to start a yeast free diet. This would require lots of discipline on your part especially when it comes to the foods you need to avoid. Still, with the right determination, you will get to see improvements in your health the moment you succeed in following your Candida diet.

There are also other things you can do to speed up your recovery from Candidiasis. You can try natural remedies like eating or taking raw garlic cloves, oregano oil, or grape-seed or olive leaf extracts. You can also back up your system with unsweetened yogurt, which you can both take orally or apply topically. Soluble fibers would also be good in cleansing your system against Candida.

Yeast Free Beer?

For the yeast intolerant, there are only two choices: drink beer with the yeast, or don’t drink beer at all. In other words, you can’t combine yeast-free and beer. There is no such thing as yeast free beer. Here’s why:

Yeast is an important ingredient in making beer. Without yeast, beer would not have any alcoholic content in it. Yeast is used in the fermentation process or brewing of beer. It converts the carbohydrates and sugars in malted barley or wheat in order to produce alcohol in the beer. Before bottling, beer like wine is usually sterile filtered to remove the large particles of yeast left in the beer so the beer wouldn’t look too cloudy. Still, not all of the yeast can be removed during filtering. In fact, it is ideal to leave some yeast in the beer before bottling so the beer would have a “fizz” upon opening.

Now that you know, it’s probably better to quit beer and yeast altogether to have a healthy yeast free life. In general you will also have a better health being alcohol-free at the same time.
