Yeast Free Diet Foods to Avoid

Soon as you get diagnosed with the Candida yeast intolerance disease, probably the first things you will hear from your doctor is to avoid foods that contain yeast as well as foods that feed the yeasts. Here are some of the most common yeast free diet foods to avoid while you are on a Candida free diet.

Foods to avoid:

Foods baked with yeast are a big no-no. Refrain from eating white or wheat-based breads and pastries. Next, avoid foods that are fermented with yeast. These include alcoholic beverages like beer and wine. Vinegar too should be avoided. Processed meats also have yeast in them, so stay away from cold cuts, or pickled or smoked meats. (These foods don’t only have yeast; they’re also probably loaded with unhealthy preservatives.)

Next, refrain from eating foods that tend to mold. Cheeses, dairy products, peanuts, mushrooms, flaked cereals, raisins, and even grapes should be avoided. Lastly, limit eating sweet foods as well as high-carbohydrate foods especially those with wheat and gluten. Yeasts love feeding on them so stay away from them.
