There is just
one common term for the intolerance to
yeast – Candidiasis, yet the
symptoms vary depending on the location of the infection. Usually, the symptoms
are common to the skin and the mouth area, but yeast intolerance symptoms could also invade the reproductive area
especially the vagina.
Women who
have vaginal thrush or vaginitis, often experience burning,
itching, and severe irritation in their vaginal area. This may also include
whitish gray discharge and sometimes genital warts.
In more
serious cases, the vaginitis may also take over the reproductive organs as well
as the urinary system. This causes frequency and urgency in urinating, bladder
infection, irregular menstruation, sexual dysfunction, and sometimes may even
lead to infertility.
Aside from
the said physical symptoms, vaginal yeast
infection may also cause problems to one’s mental health. Symptoms like
depression, anxiety, irritability, mood swings, headaches, dizziness, poor
concentration, and memory problems may also be felt.
If you have
any of these symptoms, then there’s a big chance you will be diagnosed with vaginitis.
Better get yourself checked soon as possible so you can also get treatment
right away.
